On Monday, Honourable Sharat Singh Bhandari, Minister for Labour, Employment, and Social Security, delivered his remarks at the National Tourism Dialogue organized by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation at Singha Durbar.

In his address, Minister Bhandari emphasized the significant role played by Nepalis living and working abroad in promoting Nepal on the global stage. He remarked that the Nepali diaspora, engaged in various professions across the world, serve as natural brand ambassadors of Nepal’s tourism sector. Their cultural presence, work ethic, and deep-rooted connection to their homeland help introduce Nepal’s rich heritage, natural beauty, and hospitality to international communities.

Minister Bhandari also noted that tapping into this global network could play a pivotal role in boosting Nepal’s tourism industry. He called for coordinated efforts to empower and engage the diaspora community in formal promotional campaigns that align with the national tourism strategy.
